… a very Merry Christmas.

I will be taking a few days off to be with my family and and a couple of close friends. We’ll have a fairly traditional Christmas dinner ~ we’ll bend the public health rules guidelines a bit. My wife and I live alone, our son, who also lives alone, will join us. Ditto for a dear friend and neighbour who is also alone and is part of our tiny “social circle.” We are conscious of the dangers of spreading COVID-19, but we are all confident in each other’s company. I’ll return, with my normal, less than happy commentary on December 27th after I enjoy Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day with family. (My followers from other than the “Old Dominions” can Google “Boxing Day” and discover for yourselves the origins of this holiday.) In the meantime, from me and my family to you and yours: Merry Christmas!
And a very Merry Christmas to you and your family Ted. Keep up the great thought-provoking work with your excellent blog!
Cheers & Pro Patria
Thanks, Bob. Merry Christmas to you and yours, too … and Pro Patria!
