Strike 2

Strike 1 was the sudden resignation of Bill Morneau ~ of course it had nothing at all to do with the WE Charity scandal, did it? He wants a new job, he says, heading the OECD, but insiders say that’s unlikely to happen for a couple of good reasons. But it was a good excuse and it allows him to head back to Bay Street and large financial rewards. And it gave Justin Trudeau a bit of. breathing room.

Or did it?

Now we see that the Kielburger brothers are closing the WE Charity‘s operations in Canada and they will end their involvement with it. That’s Strike 2. Perhaps that will muddy the waters for a week or so … but Parliament resumes work in two weeks and committees will get back to business, despite the Liberals‘ best efforts to delay and deflect.

Strike 3 is coming … the coverup cannot go on for ever.
