And then what?

So, the awful stench of corruption which surrounded the Trudeau-57eba91dcb5051.62200966_1Kielburger scam that would have seen $900 Million ~ yes, that just a few bucks short of a Billion dollars ~ given to the Kielburgers’ charity to be used without parliament’s oversight was too much even for a bought-and-paid-for media and someone had the good sense to pull the plug on it before the damage became fatal.

Screen Shot 2020-07-04 at 08.11.39Now, even the federal ethics commissioner, Mario Dion, will investigate the whole affair. This is the third formal investigation of Justin Trudeau, himself, and, I think, the sixth of his government. That must tell us something. But where will it lead? The ethics commissioner will, I hope, have no difficulty in concluding, yet again, that Justin Trudeau is unethical, dishonest and unable to even find much less follow his moral compass. The problem is: so what?

But what will happen? Another $100.00 fine and another official “shame-on-you“? Is that all that will happen? Will the media just shrug, again, and say, “Oh, well, that’s too bad … but, really, it’s OK because Justin marches in gay pride parades.

I need to repeat: Justin Trudeau is unethical; he has no moral compass at all; he is unfit to hold any elected office, anywhere. The fact that he holds the highest elected office in Canada says a lot about the 6 Million Canadians, (33.12% of those eligible to vote) who voted for Liberal Party candidates, and none of it is good.

We, all of us, including good Liberals (and I know most Liberals are good people) need to be outraged at what Justin Trudeau does; we all (about 90% of us, anyway) need to understand that he is what he is and that is unacceptable to us. I don’t expect my good Liberal friends to abandon their party; but I hope that many will rise up and say: Enough! Trudeau Must Go!

  1. I cannot tell you how angry i am. You are correct, he will weasel out of it since he is going to ‘collaborate’ with Dion.. well that sure taints the kielburger brothers and WE… (known by the friends you keep)

    1. We need more than just you and I to be angry ~ our good Liberal friends must be angry, too … angry enough to either stay home or vote NDP in the next election. The Liberal Party will not ditch a winning horse

  2. In a minority parliament no less. The result of no credible conservative opposition. Poor leadership and poor policies in the Conservative party can only result in the same in the Liberal party as well. Trudeau should go, but in our system our parliamentarians have voluntarily disempowered themselves

      1. I don’t know that the Conservative Party can re-invent itself as a viable alternative to the Liberal Party. The social conservative wing is an anchor they can’t seem to shake as the rest of the electorate seems to get ever more progressive. And are so beholden to their Alberta/Saskatchewan/Rural Canadian base that a breakthrough in urban areas seems increasingly unlikely without a robust NDP eating away at the Liberal vote.
