Hypocrisy

I am sick and bloody tired of Justin Trudeau and his seemingly natural, ingrained but sickening hypocrisy.

On Friday, he felt it necessary to comment on the violence that is tearing a major US city (Minneapolis) apart.

But, don’t you think it’s a bit odd that he didn’t, at the same time, comment on some specific acts of violence here in Canada?

I mean, just that day the media reported that “Toronto police are searching for two suspects after a shooting the city’s Jane and Finch neighbourhood.

The report says that “Police were called to the Grandravine Drive and Driftwood Avenue area around 10 p.m. Thursday … [after] … Several callers reported multiple gunshots and when officers arrived at the scene, they found a man laying on the ground.

But then I saw the reason it wasn’t mentioned: “Police were looking for two males:

  • The first is described as black and wearing a black hoodie and black bandana; and
  • The second male is described as black and wearing a grey hoodie and black bandana.”

We know, because Justin Trudeau and Bill Blair and, more recently, no less an authority on the subject than Catherine Mckenna, told us that legally owned semi-automatic rifles gangsare the big social problem facing Canada. They didn’t mention urban gangs so I guess we are to conclude that they’re harmless. Evidently, we are not to ask about the legions of young men, often young men of colour, armed with illegal handguns ~ mostly smuggled imagesin from the USA ~ and equally illegal, fully automatic, sub-machine guns, who terrorize urban neighbourhoods.  I’ll be branded a racist if I suggest that those young men and not the semi-automatic rifles used by many hunters and trappers are the problem. The Trudeau regime explicitly acknowledged that the rifles it wants to ban are used by real hunters when it said that First Nations hunters can continue to use those weapons … only non-indigenous owners will be told to surrender their rifles.

The hypocrisy of the Trudeau Liberals is breathtaking. It is exceeded only by the naivety of those who continue to vote for them.
