Another Trudeau train wreck?

A year ago, I commented on a train wreck in Saskatchewan that spilt 1.5 million litres of crude oil on to Saskatchewan’s farmlands. Now I see, on CBC News, that another train has crashed, just hours ago, in the same area …

Screen Shot 2020-02-06 at 11.46.07… about 100 km South-East of Saskatoon; and from the looks of the imagery …

Screen Shot 2020-02-06 at 11.43.44 … and the verbal reports, I would guess that it is, once again, a train carrying fuel that has exploded.

Why will Trudeau Liberals and various other environmentalists not learn, after last year’s crash and after Lac Megantic, that pipelines are a better and much safer way to move petroleum products? I think it time that we told various provinces that their “social licence” is not a veto.

It is time to push pipelines through British Columbia and through Ontario and Québec, to unnamedboth Canadian refineries and to our coastal seaports. Canada needs to stop importing oil from Saudi Arabian and Iraqi and Iranian despots, who flog women to death for having sex, using tankers that foul our rivers, and start using cleaner, more ethical, Canadian oil that moves to Vancouver and Montreal, Saint John and Halifax by Canadian owned and operated pipelines.
