Canada has spoken, and …

… the results are a grave disappointment for me. I, personally, simply cannot understand how millions of Canadians could overlook Justin Trudeau’s dismal atrocious record of broken promises, policy blunders, lies and unethical behaviour, heaped on top of the whole blackface thing and still vote Liberal.

But they have and now all of us must live with the results.

In my opinion, given that neither Justin Trudeau nor Andrew Scheer was able to persuade more than about 35% of the Canadians who came out to vote that they and their party’s candidates deserved election, both Prime Minister Trudeau and Andrew Scheer should, this very evening, do the honourable thing and resign the leadership of their respective parties. But I do not expect Prime Minister Trudeau to do that.

Given that Andrew Scheer could not manage to defeat …

… it seems to me, that despite having improved the CPC’s political position, he must resign as Conservative Party leader and make way for someone who can:

  1. I think there is a different kind of honour about these days sir. One that I don’t agree with perhaps but then I’m superfluous to the present common good.
