I said, just hours ago, that “the Toronto Star and the Liberal
propaganda information machine will have a field day trying to persuade Canadians that this is nothing but a personal vendetta which the former attorney general and veterans affairs minister orchestrated to bring down Gerald Butts (and as many others as she could) because she was, they will say, an interfering, conniving, hard to get along with b!tch.”
It seems to be starting …
I do not, for even a µsecond, dismiss Ms Delacourt’s concerns; I do not subscribe to the theory that Ms Wilson-Raybould is 100% pure and that Team Trudeau is irredeemably corrupt; but I do believe that there is more to this affair than what Ms Wilson-Raybould will be allowed to say, today and I also believe, as John Ibbitson said, that “There is an iron law in major political scandals. Everything eventually comes out. Everything.” Michael Wernick gave us some, Ms Wilson-Raybould will give us a bit more … but everything will come out, sooner or later and then Canadians can decide.
