I’m not sure about the dateline (22 July 2018)* on this article, from Marinelog, but it tells us about another “new” ship, this one for the Coast Guard, It is another conversion job by Davie in Quebec.
They, it looks like the contract is for three, are fairly new (built in 2000, I think) and fairly large (85 metres, 3,000+ tons) ships. The conversion looks like this:
This is good news for the Coast Guard and good news for Davie, too.
