The Trudeau regime cannot, it seems, tell the truth … not even when the truth is the
good best and right answer.
Thomas Walkom, writing in the Toronto Star, a generally Liberal friendly journal, says that “We now know how the Russians have been subverting Canadian democracy. They have been propagating truthful news … [and] … That information comes courtesy of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who on Wednesday finally explained the motive behind his government’s decision last week to expel four Russian diplomats and refuse entry to three more … [but] … At the time, Ottawa said it was making the move in support of Britain, which blames Russia for using a deadly nerve agent to poison a double agent living in England … [but, then] … in a written statement, Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland also said the Russians had been using their diplomatic status “to interfere in our democracy” … [but, he asks] … How exactly the Russians had been interfering was not explained. Efforts to get more information from Freeland’s office were unsuccessful. In an interview on CBC, Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan said that he had to stay mum for reasons of national security. Nobody else would talk … [but] … Then, on Wednesday,Trudeau spilled the beans. The Russians are being punished for saying that Freeland’s grandfather was a Nazi collaborator during the Second World War … [and Prime Minister] … Trudeau called this an effort “by Russian propagandists” to smear Freeland, which perhaps it was … [but] … The only trouble with all of this is that the Russians were telling the truth. Freeland’s maternal grandfather, Michael Chomiak, was a Nazi collaborator during the Second World War.” (My emphasis added.)
Now, the first reason given, that Canada “said it was making the move in support of Britain, which blames Russia for using a deadly nerve agent to poison a double agent living in England,” was certainly the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but that’s never good enough for Justin Trudeau’s gang of campaign propagandists; they, and that includes Minister Freeland, always have to embellish the truth to make themselves look better.
The truth was completely reasonable; it was a good, fresponsible act of foreign policy; it required neither apologies nor excuses … any reasonable, grown up, political leader would have let the explanation speak for itself. But not this gang, they are, as Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, President of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, said “serial liars.” Perhaps they cannot help it, perhaps Justin Trudeau and Gerald Butts have forgotten that the truth can work, perhaps they are just instinctive, natural liars, perhaps they think that most of us are too dumb to notice … I don’t know why they do it; but I am 100% certain that it, the serial lying, will, eventually, backfire and do (even more) serious damage to Canada’s reputation in the world.
It is time for the Liberal Party of Canada to get rid of Mr Butts and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ~ they are an embarrassment to Canada and to that once great party. I believe that the LPC is a great national institution and it’s needed to help Canadians maintain good, stable, democratic government for the coming generations … I also believe that Justin Trudeau is a danger to his party and to his country.
