It’s been almost two years since I started blogging in earnest. I have been looking at the statistics page for my blog … readership has been growing, generally steadily, over the past couple of years and I now have some regular (and a few periodic) readers from: Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovenia, Brazil, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, the Czech Republic, China, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. That looks like over 65 countries to me.
Thank you all for taking the time to at least glance and at, sometimes read and, perhaps, to consider my point of view. I hope I haven’t offended too many of you … but I know I’m opinionated and I understand that my blog (like most of them) is highly personal, often idiosyncratic propaganda ~ I’m trying to propagate a point of view, after all. I like to think of myself as a moderate, old fashioned liberal sort of fellow but I’m sure some of you see me as a cantankerous, even dangerous old crank.
I welcome feedback … I will only delete comments that cross the “civility” or “good taste” (foul language) line.
So, once again, to all of you, from all over the world: thanks and best wishes.
Keep blogging Ted – I count this as one of my “daily visits!”
Thanks, Infanteer … I’m glad you find at least a few bits worth your while … and I can only begin to imagine how precious your time is.
Yes by all means it helps with perspective.
Ted, I’ve never thought of you as cantankerous — but then, it’s probably because I generally agree with your sentiment; therefore you’re a wise and necessary voice. Thank you.
