Kevin O’Leary: good riddance

The-Loop_Kevin-OLeary-Taxes_960BernierMaxime_CPCSo, Kevin O’Leary finally wakes up to the fact that he cannot, possibly, lead Canada. He is putting his support behind Maxime Bernier, who is one of my top three choices because of his almost libertarian views, especially on trade issues.

It’s about time. Mr O’Leary was never, in my opinion, a serious candidate. I doubt he was, even, really a Conservative. He doesn’t like Justin Trudeau … I get that, but if he had any of the “right stuff” and if he was a real leader and a real Conservative then he would have weighed in, using his acknowledged reality TV “celebrity” status, to argue against Prime Minister Trudeau during the 2015 campaign … but he was busy with his second rate reality TV show in the USA. Good riddance, I say.

I still hope and expect that Erin O’Toole will win in the end.
