Some good (and free) advice for Prime Minister Trudeau

The great American general and statesman George C Marshall said …

The biggest current “problem” for many Canadians, especially for many progressive Canadians and even more especially for those in the Liberal government is President elect Donald Trump.

His attitude, as displayed to date, and his beliefs and promises, as enunciated on the campaign trail, are anathema to many, many Canadians.

But our American friends elected him.

Don’t fight that problem.

Some of his promises may threaten real harm to Canada if he acts upon them.

Those are problems that a Canadian prime minister, can and should fight, if and when they arise.

But, each problem needs to be analyzed on its own merits when it comes up, considering how it fits with (or agains) all the other problems that face a government, and for each fight a correct tactic has to be chosen.
