There are multiple news reports that Jim Prentice, a former CPC minister in Stephen Harper’s government and a former leader of the Alberta PC Party and premier of Alberta has been killed in a plane crash in BC. He was 60.
Mr Prentice was an able public servant and business executive. He was a native of South Porcupine, ON and attended university at the University of Alberta and Dalhousie. He was a lawyer, businessman and politician.
He will be sorely missed by Canadians, especially at this time when Canada needs mature leaders to mentor a new, up and coming generation.
