I was thinking about promises made and then ignored or broken …
… those were all promises designed to lure voters who would, normally, vote NDP into the Liberal fold, and bring out young Canadians, who are, generally, disengaged from political issues. Those promises ~ and others, like electoral reform ~ worked; they were good politics even if they are impossible policy.
Then I saw this:
