Well done, Minister Sajjan

_1b269570-76fb-11e5-9d61-41ab8e878eddI have been harshly critical of The Honourable Harit Sajjan; not of him, personally, but rather of his (and  others’) choice to serve in a government that is, I believe, anathema to many of the things in which he claims to have believed.

But, now, according to a report by Murray Brewster in the Ottawa Citizen, we all, Conservatives, too, owe Minister Sajjan a big BZ for seeking some unmanned aircraft ~ there are various types all mistakenly, by the media, lumped together as “drones” ~ for the Canadian Forces.

We used unmanned aircraft in Afghanistan …

cu161..

… and we have Canadians serving with the Royal Australian Air Force keeping the UAV skills alive …

… it is past time that we equipped our own armed forces with these important tools.

So: Well done, Minister Sajjan!
